Quinn’s Creations is located in Neptune Township at the Jersey Shore. Ms. Quinn has been crafting glass and writing beautiful calligraphy since she was very young. Her uncle, Monsignor Hugh Quinn was a renowned and talented calligrapher. The gift of beautiful writing seems to run in the family.

At about ten, Ms. Quinn was instructed in this skill by her uncle. Her love affair with beautiful writing has remained strong to this day. As “Uncle Hughie” would say, “The beautiful writing comes from the heart and the eyes, Frances, not so much by the hand. You must practice, practice and practice some more to perfect your talent.

Themes are very popular with brides today. Ms. Quinn will work with the bride and groom to ensure a beautiful addition to the wedding. Etiquette requires that the addressing of wedding invitations not be done by computer but by hand; preferably by a calligrapher. Be it addressing the envelopes, seating charts, menu’s or favors, she will do it with flair and style. Each season carries with it wonderful opportunities to design many parts of the celebration with its beauty. Just let us know what you like, and we will produce your perfect wedding writing.

In high school at Red Bank Catholic, Ms. Quinn was introduced to a simple glass etching class and from that day, she loved working with glass. She prefers to etch clear glass as in wine glasses, windows and doors. Ms. Quinn also likes to keep the designs on the glass as clear and simple as possible. Surface etching is her favorite because it gives you the design – clear and simple- without being gaudy or overdone. She also loves the Victorian and Art Deco etchings which were so popular in their time. She will go to any lengths to supply you with the look you love.

In etching mirrors, which we like to call Reflective Reflections, beauty and inspiration go hand in hand. When Ms. Quinn etches a phrase such as “Believe” “Love” or “Keep it Simple”, it is a way to look at yourself while looking at the phrase as a way to remind YOURSELF of the uplifting message you see. You see yourself along with the message. These are perfect for inspirational gifts.
